But before we go into that, let’s be totally honest here.

If you’re one of the lucky few, getting rid of cellulite entirely may actually be an option.

However if you’re like me, one of the other 80-90% of women, a reduction, or an improvement is as good as it’s going to get.

Take a look at my wobbly butt above on the right before I made the changes I’m about to tell you about, and that’s my less wobbly butt below on the left after I made the changes.

Pretty good don’t you think, despite the bruises from going down a water-slide with my grand-daughter!

What’s more, my poor husband got to take the photos, can you imagine the pressure I was under to improve after that photo shoot!!

And improve I did, but believe me there is no reason why you can’t do exactly the same.


OK Without Further Ado – The 9 Steps

   1.   No carbs after 6.00pm except for chocolate of course (!) (over 65% cacao and only one ounce). I ocassionally sneak 3-4 pieces during the day if I feel myself leaning toward the cookie jar.

   2.   Eat your biggest meal at the beginning of the day, I have bacon and eggs with two thin wholemeal slices of toast.

   3.   Jog for at least 45 minutes 6 times a week. If you can’t jog (and I couldn’t a few short months ago), combine jogging and walking and gradually increase the jogging.

   4.   Lift light weights for your upper body at least three times a week. Just work up to weights if you haven’t used them before. And do it seriously for a full hour. If you don’t, you may lose weight but your flesh will be floppy and loose, yuk! If you aren’t sure what to do here’s a sample of what’s on my website to get you going.


   5.   Do the same for your lower body, and do it at least 3 times a week.


   6.   Guess what, yes you got it, do the same for your abs.

   7.   Drink green tea and limit yourself to one glass of wine a day. I mix mine with diet 7Up, low cal, refreshing and still wine!

   8.   Calorie count. On days you run (or whatever your cardio choice is) allow 1500, I have 1300-1400. My current weight is 49-50kg. Trial and error will tell you if you are eating too much, and the size of your butt!!

   9.   Have one day off, thank goodness, but try to finish your blow-out by 6.00pm. I tend to relax from Friday to Sunday, but I don’t overeat and go crazy, so it evens out to one blowout day.


And of course ignore everything I said for special occasions!!
