Hydroderm Bodyshape review – The cellulite cream that is no more
Hydroderm Body Shape, was at one time our top rated anti cellulite cream here at the TheCellulitReport.com. Unfortunately due to some questionably marketing habits, and complaints across the web about their support we’ve decided to take this ranking away from Hydroderm Body Shape.
NOTE: This is recent news as of Jan. 2009 but Hydroderm, the parent company of Hydroderm Body Shape has gone into bankruptcy from the information we have gathered. I assume, but have not 100% confirmed it, that you will no longer be able to purchase their body shape or anti wrinkle products.
A word about Body Shapes marketing
Something you should always be careful of in the online shopping world is free trials. Hydroderm Bodyshape had a very attractive marketing angle, they offered a free trial. How ever when you really read the fine print it wasn’t a free trial for ever, it was more like a free test.
After the first month you were billed for a tube of Bodyshape that was sent to you automatically if you did not cancel your “free trialâ€. This information was presented to the customer at the checkout, but of course it was presented in either very small print or as part of a terms of sale page.
There was a lot of backlash across the Internet about this type of marketing, and since reading it I’ve decided to not include Free trial offers on this site for now, I may change my mind in the future depending on new products and offers that become available, but I will try to always read into the offer prior to offering it to you my readers.
