Mesotherapy Cellulite
Cellulite is a very common skin problem, which affects almost 90 percent women around the world. There are various anti cellulite products available in the market today that claim to eliminate cellulite completely but there are very few brands only that are actually able to achieve it. There are various other treatments also available for treating cellulite these includes endermologie, mesotherapy and liposuction. Mesotherapy has one of the most effective treatments available at present.
There are a lot of treatments available in the market but here we explore one of the most common one called mesotherapy, this was devised by Dr Michel Pistor in 1952. This therapy has proven to be effective in treating the aesthetic conditions. In mesotherapy the middle layer of the skin or better known as the mesoderm is treated, this helps in to disburse the cellulite in the body. Mesotherapy is also used in treating rheumatology, infectious diseases as well as the vascular diseases.
On an average it is believed that cellulite usually appears between the ages of 25 and 35 and as we go up the age ladder the condition worsens. It is said by researchers that cellulite occurs in three stages and it is suggested that the earlier you identify the problem the better it is for you as it will require lesser number of treatments. In the first stage one there is no cellulite visible on the surface of the skin while standing or lying down. Though, when the skin is pinched there is an orange peel like texture to it. In the second stage the cellulite is visible when one is standing but is not visible when you are lying down. In the third and the final stage the cellulite is visible in both standing and lying down position.
In this therapy the fat is taken out from the skin with the help of injections that help to break the connective tissue fibres that are formed by the cells being trapped in the subcutaneous layer. This results in some parts of the skin to bulge out at some place, which has come to be known as cellulite. In mesotherapy the prime aim is to break the connective tissues, which are injected beneath the skin into the mesoderm layer of the skin with small amounts of homeopathic medicines. These injections help in improving the blood circulation and the lymphatic vessels.
There are some users who feel that mesotherapy can be an alternative to liposuction as it also has an ability to reduce the fat content from the body. The mesosculpting technique uses mesotherapy to reduce the spot area of fat accumulation, this is quiet useful for people who do not want to go through liposuction.
The therapy is mostly used to reduce cellulite an unwanted deposit of fat from the affected area. It is also used regularly for skin rejuvenation as well. The treatment can be carried out on any age group and does not require any specific age limit. Mesotherapy has the least amount of swelling and bruising in the affected area.
There are various sittings required for the entire treatment, each of the treatment is painless and takes almost ten to twenty minutes to finish. It does not even require any rest and the patients can return to normal activities really soon. On an average the patient would require about six to ten sessions of the treatment to get the desired result and in most of the cases there is a gap of one to two weeks between both of the treatments.
The treatment claims that if the patients do not gain a wait of more than 15 pounds after the treatment the occurrence of cellulite is almost negligible. The treatment can be successful only when it is accompanied by an anti cellulite diet and a vigorous exercise regime for at least half an hour a day.
There are times when mesotherapy can leave some side affects; this is generally a blue and black mark on the skin. At times there is a 15 to 20 minute burning sensation in the skin. There are a very few patients who have complained of having a mild soreness in the body for about one to five days.
There are a lot of anti cellulite creams and gels also available in the market these days. This has to be massaged to the affected area and it claims to improve the cellulite considerably but there are hardly any creams and gels that are useful. These creams have to be used regularly and they are quiet expensive in the longer run.
One has to remember that the treatment has to be followed with a good anti cellulite diet and a good exercise regime. This will restrict the reappearance of cellulite on the affected area.
